Autotest is a function that provides the emergency lighting with automatic periodic testing of the light source, electronics and battery, eliminating the need for manual checks. This is done via a protocol which complies with the international standard IEC62034.

1. Test after commissioning: as soon as the luminaire is connected for the first time. The batteries are charging for 24 hours, after 24 hours a full autonomy test takes place. After that, the batteries are recharging again for 24 hours.
2. Short function test: for 3 seconds the luminaire tests (after pressing and releasing the test button) the condition of battery, electronics and light source.
3. Monthly function test: automatic 3-minute monthly test.
4. Annual autonomy test: 3-hour automatic, annual, full autonomy test.
