In maintained mode, only the pictogram is illuminated (38 Lm). When emergency is detected, emergency mode will switch on. The two LED’s provides 50 Lm lighting at the bottom of the fixture, useful for for extra lighting in the escape route.

Autotest is a function that provides emergency lighting for automatic periodic testing of the light source, electronics and battery. This is a protocol that complies with the international standard IEC62034.

The luminaire has the following tests:

1. Test after commissioning: as soon as the luminaire is connected for the first time. The batteries are charging for 24 hours, after 24 hours a full autonomy test takes place. After that, the batteries are recharging again for 24 hours.
2. Short function test: for 3 seconds the luminaire tests (after pressing and releasing the test button) the condition of battery, electronics and light source.
3. Monthly function test: automatic 3-minute monthly test.
4. Annual autonomy test: 3-hour automatic, annual, full autonomy test.
