The UNI12 lighting profile is primarily characterized by universality, commonly understood as versatility. It manifests itself mainly in three different aspects:

1. mounting method – LED aluminum profile can be mounted in two different ways – surface and recessed, it all depends on the location of the LED installation and customer preferences;
2. many components to choose from – shades, handles, end caps and connectors;
3. various applications – in the kitchen, dressing room, living room, corridor and in any other places that we want to give a modern and designer character.

Created by our architects of light, the aluminum UNI12 LED profile was created for customers who are looking for simple and affordable solutions with a wide range of accessories to choose from. However, our universal LED strip has many other advantages. First of all, it is a profile with a more advanced cross-section, which increases radiation, which makes it possible to use more powerful LED sources without the risk of significantly increasing the temperature in the luminaire. As a consequence, the life of the LED and satisfactory lighting parameters are extended. To be precise, in the UNI12 led profile, the maximum width of the LED strip is 12 mm.

UNI12 LED PROFILE – WHAT COMPONENTS DO WE OFFER?
The basic component of the UNI12 profile is the cover. Thanks to a conscious choice, you can better plan the lighting effect, diffusion and distribution of light. Our offer includes nearly ten types of covers – B sliding (transparent, frost, milky), C click (transparent, black, milky), C lens cover, D click (milky). The most light transmits the transparent variant, followed by frost. The milky type diffuses the light, thus being the most popular and eye-pleasing lighting option. Noteworthy is also the black shade – one of the newer solutions. The combination of a black profile with black end caps and a black lampshade can significantly increase the aesthetic value and fit in with the constantly attractive loft interior trend.

Depending on the selected cover, there are two options for its assembly – the slip-on cover should be placed at the beginning of the profile and dragged along the marked slot, while the click-type cover should be placed immediately along the strip, and then clicked in in a simple and intuitive way.

An angle connector can also be used for the UNI12 profile. This accessory allows you to quickly connect profiles without dark corners, guaranteeing lighting along the entire length of the profiles, even at the connection point. TOPMET connectors are made of aluminum and come in three versions – painted white, anodized and black anodized.

An important element of the equipment are end caps that ensure aesthetic closure of the profile and protection of the LED source. TOPMET offers four types of end caps – UNI12 gen2, UNI12 gen2 with a hole, UNI12 D and UNI12 D. End caps with a hole allow for aesthetic cable entry without the need to drill through the end cap or profile, while end caps without a hole are an aesthetic and tighter end of the profile . End caps marked “D” match the combination of profile and cover D click.
